Jim Cantrill received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1985, taught in the field of Communication Studies, and served as an academic administrator at Northern Michigan University until his retirement in 2023. Dr. Cantrill has a lengthy history of research and consulting related to environmental communication and, along with colleagues from around the world, was instrumental in the creation of conservation psychology as a distinct disciplinary focus in the social sciences. He currently serves as the President Elect for the Rotary Club of Marquette Harbor, the District 6220 International Service Chair, and the Development Chair for Michigan Trout Unlimited. For the past few years, Jim has worked closely with other Rotarians managing RI Global Grants regarding water projects in Guatemala and Ukrainian war relief efforts.
Gary Tree has been a Rotarian since 2017 with a passion to work on Global Grants. Married 47 years, Structural Engineer by training, Commercial General Contracting Professional, 40 plus years.
Paige Radke (she/her) is the Investment Strategist for UMB Wealth Management in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. She holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from UW-Madison and a Masters in Finance Analysis with a Certificate in Investment Management from UW-Milwaukee. Paige joined the Rotary Club of Milwaukee in the summer of 2023 after being a member of the Rotaract Club of Milwaukee and serving as club President ‘21-‘22. She also traveled to Guatemala with the Rotary Club of Milwaukee in 2019 and 2020 where she developed a deeper understanding of Rotary's international efforts while partnering with Engineers Without Borders. Paige is driven by her passion for helping people and focuses her efforts on economic development, financial literacy, and water-based sustainability.
Julio Grazioso has been a dedicated Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Guatemala Vista Hermosa since 2006, serving in various leadership roles. He was District Governor of Rotary International District 4250 in 2017-18 and has been deeply involved in humanitarian initiatives and has played a key role in advancing education and disaster relief efforts. His commitment to Rotary’s mission is further demonstrated by his participation in more than 40 Global Grants and his tenure on The Rotary Foundation’s WASH in Schools committee (2016-2020). Beyond Rotary, Julio is an appointed Ambassador of Peace by the Government of Guatemala. A Civil Engineer by profession, he is also the co-founder of Engineers Without Borders in Guatemala, working to create sustainable infrastructure solutions for communities in need.
Mary McCormick, facilitator, serves as the Executive Director of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee (RCM) and has been a dedicated leader for over 20 years. In 2022, she was honored by the club for her exceptional service and unwavering commitment. Under her steadfast leadership, she oversees staff, projects, and programs while actively engaging with Rotary International, District 6270, Rotary Large Clubs, and local communities. RCM is deeply grateful for her contributions and impact.
