Explore the process of becoming a Global Grant Scholar and gain insights from my journey as a graduate student from Japan studying in the United States. I will share personal experiences navigating academic and cultural challenges, as well as highlight the opportunities and growth this scholarship has provided. Additionally, I will discuss my future goals, including advancing educational leadership and policy analysis to create meaningful impacts in global education.
Reika is a master's student in Higher Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a strong passion for international education and inclusion. My background as an international student in the United States, along with my experience with supporting international students in Japan has helped me to understand the importance and power of inclusive international higher education practices. I am committed and dedicated to studying leadership, which I believe will enhance my understanding of diversity and inclusion within educational contexts.
